Uprise Impact Inc. focuses on transforming underutilized land into high-impact, sustainable developments for affordable housing, clean energy, agriculture, and event-ready spaces. The company uses satellite imagery, AI-driven analysis, and digital planning tools to evaluate site viability and accelerate development by providing data-driven insights for governments, developers, and communities.  Uprise is now scaling toward commercialization of its AI-powered Land Activation Platform, designed to support municipalities, landowners, and developers in identifying viable housing, renewable energy, agriculture, and event-ready opportunities.

Project

Uprise Impact Inc is developing an AI-powered land activation platform to accelerate housing, renewable energy, agriculture, and community projects across Ontario. The platform will combine satellite imagery, machine learning, and regulatory data to automate land viability assessments and generate actionable recommendations.  Through the support of the Development and Commercialization program, Uprise will further develop its platform and also leverage Evergreen Brick Works as a key Technology Development Site to accelerate product testing and validation.

Impact & Outcomes

The project will result in a fully operational AI-driven Land Activation Platform that integrates advanced satellite imagery, machine learning, and regulatory mapping tools into a single, user-friendly solution for landowners, municipalities, and developers.  After successful scaling of the solution, Uprise forecasts up to $3 million in ARR in year three and the potential to hire an additional 8-12 full-time employees.
