Sphere Manufacturing Group is a Canadian advanced manufacturing company formed through the integration of five established manufacturing businesses in July 2021. Project

This Future Ready supported project will provide AI training, coaching, workflow assessments, and policy development support to employees across multiple departments. Working with an external AI advisory partner, Sphere will identify opportunities to improve productivity, streamline administrative processes, enhance decision-making, and support innovation through the responsible use of AI technologies.  The project includes leadership training, employee upskilling, workflow-specific AI implementation workshops, one-on-one coaching, and an assessment of current business processes to identify high-impact AI applications.

Impact

The primary outcome of this project will be the development of foundational artificial intelligence (AI) knowledge and practical AI capabilities across Sphere Manufacturing Group. The training program will initially focus on the company’s leadership team, followed by designated AI tool users, selected high-performing employees, and participants from key business functions involved in workflow-specific training sessions.  Over the next five years, Sphere Manufacturing Group anticipates that the successful adoption of AI technologies and AI-enabled workflows will generate measurable productivity improvements across administrative, operational, engineering, and business development functions. By reducing time spent on repetitive tasks, improving access to information, and enhancing decision-making processes, the company expects to achieve operational efficiencies that support continued growth and competitiveness.
