Project

The project supported by the Development and Commercialization program aims to integrate Tsaro.AI’s advanced predictive maintenance and data analytics platform with Evergreen Brick Works’ elevator systems, focusing on minimizing unplanned downtime and reducing costly repairs. The core objective is to implement a pilot project where Tsaro.AI will collect, analyze, and provide real-time insights into elevator performance and predictive alerts for maintenance. Tsaro also aids in digitizing manual data and processes, integrating with platforms like ServiceChannel and

ServiceNow. Built on a flexible cloud architecture, Tsaro.AI supports data ingestion from multiple

sources and trains AI models for autonomous decision-making. Moving from rule-based alerts to non-

rule-based AI decisions, Tsaro aims to revolutionize the vertical transportation (VT) industry by becoming a trusted partner for customers, helping them make informed decisions and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the output of this project is directly related to the commercial rollout of Tsaro’s solution to one of the world’s largest big-box retailers across the US, which will serve as a reference for future deployments.

Impact & Outcomes

At the completion of the project, Tsaro will have a validated software solution comprised of a fully integrated predictive maintenance platform as well as a digital twin of the pilot elevators and a comprehensive pilot report and commercialization plan. The project will pave the way for rollout of the Tsaro system which is forecasted to increase revenue in both sales and annual subscriptions as well as create opportunities for five new full-time employees in the next two years. By enabling predictive maintenance, Tsaro.AI’s platform will reduce elevator downtime and unplanned service calls by 30 – 40%, cutting costs and improving compliance for partners and customers such as Evergreen Brick Works.

Beyond direct impact, Tsaro.AI will help position Ontario as a leader in smart building technology, stimulate demand across the IoT and AI value chain, and support market expansion driven by Ontario-based R&D and large-scale deployment success.
