Myron Tile & Stone

About

Myron Tile & Stone is a well-established tile and stone retailer and design service and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality porcelain tiles, large-format slabs, bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, and custom countertops. Myron also offers specialized services including custom millwork, full-scope design consultations, and access to a network of vetted installation contractors. Its customer base spans homeowners, interior designers, builders, and contractors across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), serving both residential and commercial projects. Myron Tile & Stone is known not just for its product selection, but also for its focus on customer service, design expertise, and project execution.

Project

The company actively uses a range of digital tools to support its day-to-day operations, including point-of-sale systems, digital inventory management, CAD design software for visualizations, and cloud-based communication tools to coordinate with clients and contractors.  In order to operate efficiently and continue to scale the business, Myron is looking to adopt new AI-based technologies. To support these new technologies, Myron is leveraging the Future Ready Program to implement a structured training initiative aimed at equipping their internal team with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize AI-powered tools for project management, process optimization, and digital collaboration.

Impact & Outcomes

This project will result in a measurable uplift in Myrone Tile & Stone’s operational efficiency, team productivity, and digital fluency. By the end of the training period, the entire team will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to independently use and sustain AI-enabled workflows across project management, client engagement, and internal collaboration.  The implementation of AI-enabled tools will generate cost savings of $300,000 annually as a result of reduced rework, fewer delays and optimized scheduling.  Revenues are expected to increase by $600,000 and 3-5 new jobs will be created.
