MOSTAVIO Inc. and its dedicated drone operations division, MOSTAVIO-SkyTech, form a comprehensive aviation and aerospace technology enterprise advancing next-generation air mobility and enterprise drone innovation. MOSTAVIO is developing 2–3 passenger electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft with a focus on autonomy, safety, and zero-emission sustainability. Complementing this, MOSTAVIO-SkyTech delivers enterprise drone services and training, offering AI-powered drone fleets for industries such as agriculture and infrastructure, Transport Canada–accredited pilot training and certification, commercial drone inspections with advanced analytics, and enterprise drone sales with regulatory support. Together, MOSTAVIO and its industrial drone department, SkyTech, integrate leading-edge aerospace R&D with practical drone operations, positioning the company as a leader in both eVTOL innovation and real-world drone applications.

Project

The proposed project is the development and validation of the Aerial Intelligence Security System (AISS), an autonomous, dock-based drone solution designed to act as a 24/7 aerial security guard for construction sites. AISS provides automated launch and recovery, weather-resistant housing, and integration with cloud-based interface for real-time video streaming. Through the Technology Access Program, Mostavio will leverage the Lambton College TDS to support training and validation of AI computer vision models.

Impact & Outcomes

The Aerial Intelligence Security System (AISS) project will deliver a commercial-ready, Ontario-built autonomous drone security solution by the end of the six-month project. The focus is not only on technical validation but also on completing the final integrations, regulatory steps, and field demonstrations required to launch the product into the Ontario market.  This new platform has the potential to increase Mostavio’s revenue by up to $1 million in the first year post-project as well as create additional full-time employment opportunities at the company.
