MCC Inc

About

MCC INC. is a Canadian cybersecurity, managed IT service provider, and compliance firm that provides services to businesses requiring support with NIST Compliance, the Controlled Goods Program, and other regulatory frameworks. MCC helps organizations navigate security protocols, manage risk, and ensure they meet government and industry standards. The company’s services are tailored to businesses in the defense, aerospace, technology, and manufacturing sectors, many of whom must meet strict compliance guidelines to maintain eligibility for contracts and operations.

Project

While MCC has built a strong foundation in regulatory consulting and cybersecurity compliance, they recognize that integrating emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their service delivery and operations is the next critical step in their growth and competitiveness.  Through the Future Ready program, MCC INC. will look to upskill its team in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The training program will help MCC INC. staff understand what AI is, explore the current AI tools available, and learn how to implement AI solutions that enhance both internal workflows and customer-facing processes.

Impact & Outcomes

This project will result in a workforce at MCC INC. that is AI-aware, confident, and equipped to identify, implement, and manage AI tools across both internal operations and client-facing services.  Over the next five years, MCC INC. anticipates both direct and indirect economic benefits from this project. Directly, the company expects to create three to five new high-skilled roles in Ontario, including positions focused on AI integration, client success, and technical support. Operational productivity is projected to increase by 20 to 30 percent, particularly in administrative and compliance-related tasks. As a result of more efficient service delivery and the introduction of AI-enhanced offerings, MCC INC. expects to generate over $500,000 in new revenue by year five.
