Project

Hanna Homes recognizes that there is a growing need for improved efficiency and accuracy in construction project planning, especially in material forecasting, timeline optimization, and site management. In this Future Ready program supported project, Hanna’s staff will undergo a  4-week program to train on using LLMs for inventory optimization. The training covers prompt engineering, data preparation, and ChatGPT integration with existing systems. Staff will learn to create prompts for demand forecasting, reorder automation, and waste reduction.

Impact & Outcomes

The project will deliver several tangible and lasting outcomes that directly support the integration and sustained use of AI technologies at Hanna Homes Construction. By the end of the 4-week program, 25 team members (including 11 full-time staff) will be trained in the use of AI tools for design, estimating, and project scheduling — leading to immediate improvements in productivity, accuracy, and project turnaround times.  Hanna estimates that improved efficiencies from AI implementation will increase revenue by 25% and allow for the hiring of 2-3 new employees.
