Embro Farm Systems Inc.

About

Embro Farm Systems Inc. is a family-owned agricultural equipment dealership serving farmers across Southwestern Ontario for over 45 years. The company specializes in the sale, installation, service, and maintenance of grain handling, grain storage, grain drying, livestock feeding systems, manure handling equipment, livestock housing systems, and ventilation systems. Embro Farm Systems also provide parts, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and custom system design to help customers improve the efficiency, productivity, and reliability of their operations. Their primary market is agricultural producers throughout Southwestern Ontario, ranging from family farms to large commercial operations.

Project

Through the support of the Future Ready program, Embro Farm Systems is investing in artificial intelligence (AI) training to enhance workforce capabilities and modernize business operations across the organization. Several areas of the business currently rely on manual processes — including inventory management, service scheduling, project tracking, reporting, and cross-departmental communication — creating inefficiencies that limit the company’s ability to scale and grow.

Imapct

By improving digital capabilities, Embro Farm Systems aims to simplify everyday tasks, reduce repetitive manual work, strengthen decision-making, and increase operational efficiency and collaboration across departments. This investment will equip employees with the knowledge and confidence needed to leverage emerging technologies effectively, supporting long-term organizational growth, innovation, and competitiveness within Ontario’s evolving agri-food sector.  Through gains in efficiency using AI-enabled technologies, the company anticipates an annual revenue increase of 10%-20%.
