About

CodeReady.ai, is a business that connects building code to architectural plans. The platform of the same name,  gives architects, engineers, construction professionals, and permit examiners a green/yellow/red on thousands of building code requirements quickly and visually on top of 2D PDF architectural drawings. CodeReady.ai uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to make smart assessments about architectural plans and their intersection with building codes.  The company has a target market of architecture, engineering, and construction management firms – as well as the municipal permit examiners who review and certify this work for permit acceptance.

Project

Through the support of the Technology Access program, CodeReady.ai  will work with the Evergreen TDS to gain insight from appropriate professionals in architecture, engineering and construction to help shape the functionality and appearance of the platform.  This interaction with professionals will provide CodeReady.ai with the contextual background to further develop and refine user experience.

Impact 

As a result of the project, CodeReady.ai expects to bring their product to market on an accelerated timeline. As the company reaches the release of a beta version of the software, they estimate they will require to hire 1-2 additional full-time staff and increase revenues.   The CodeReady.ai platform will significantly reduce the time required for construction permits.
