Codalio Inc. is an Ontario-based technology company that uses generative AI to help businesses design and build software through plain-language instructions, rather than hand-written code.  The platform combines conversational AI, business-logic layers, and third party integrations into deployable, fully customer-owned, cloud-agnostic products.  Codalio’s primary markets are technology-led startups, mid-sized software vendors, and vertical-specific software builders in regulated industries — including Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO).

Project

Through this Development and Commercialization supported project, Codalio  will leverage the Evergreen TDS to develop an AI-powered renovation estimation and lead qualification platform built specifically for Ontario’s residential renovation contractors.  The platform will be tested and validated at Evergreen working with a representative group of Ontario residential renovation contractors.  Evergreen will scope and host structured testing and validation of the platform, provide an independent assessment of accuracy and other metrics and introduce Codalio to potential post-commercialization channel partners.

Impact

The project will deliver a validated, deployment-ready AI renovation estimation and lead qualification platform that has been thoroughly tested through the TDS deployment. Continued development and commercial deployment of the platform will result in up to four additional full-time positions at Codalio as well as up to $500,000 in revenue one year post-project.  The platform will provide faster, more accurate quoting for contractors, more trustworthy estimates for homeowners, and stronger productivity across Ontario’s residential construction sector — supporting jobs and growth in communities across the province.
