Project

Through this project, Blade Air will further refine, validate, and optimize their new NextGen ALVI HVAC Filtration System to ensure that it is ready for large-scale deployment across commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. With support from the Development and Commercialization program, Blade Air will deploy their new system at the Evergreen Brickworks TDS to refine and validate the solution in a real-world commercial environment.

Impact

The NextGen ALVI Smart HVAC Filtration System project will deliver a fully validated, AI-powered, IoT-enabled HVAC filtration solution.  Blade Air projects post-project revenue projections from $2M – $15M and the need to hire an additional 20-30 new employees to support the anticipated growth as a result of the new offering.  Customers using the NextGen ALVI Smart HVAC Filtration System will benefit from 25–30% reductions in HVAC maintenance costs due to its predictive maintenance capabilities, leading to immediate productivity gains upon deployment. Additionally, the system’s AI-driven efficiency optimizations will achieve 15–20% reductions in HVAC energy consumption per commercial building.
