BIMstudio specializes in Building Information Modeling (BIM) services. The company offers comprehensive BIM solutions for both low-rise and high-rise construction projects encompassing a wide range of activities including design and drawings, coordination with various construction disciplines, sales and marketing assistance, procurement, and value engineering.  

Project

The construction industry faces significant fragmentation due to the involvement of numerous small, independent entities in each project. With support from CIT’s Sector Adoption Program, BIMstudio will develop BIMhub in collaboration with industry partners, Mattamy Homes and Softdrive, accelerating its adoption in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. By integrating 3D modeling and 5G capabilities, BIMhub will enhance coordination, efficiency, and integration across all stages of construction, setting a new standard for technological innovation in the industry.

Impact

Following the completion of the project, BIMstudio plans to commercialize the product on an international scale.  This  will allow BIMStudio to hire three to five additional Canadian employees immediately and expand its operations to the United States. This increase in staffing will accelerate product development and get the BIMhub into the hands of struggling AEC companies across NA sooner. By doing so BIMstudio projectis an increase revenue by over 30% ($1,000,000) in the first year and 40% ($2,000,000) in the following year. Furthermore, the project will enable BIMStudio to handle more projects, attract a broader client base, and increase sales, thus strengthening its market position and financial stability for future growth.
