About

Amplify Masonry Ltd. employs eight full-time staff and specializes in masonry contracting services. Drawing on extensive experience estimating, bidding, and managing complex projects, Amplify recognized a critical need for simple, easy-to-use digital tools to streamline project takeoffs and cost estimating.  To address this need, Amplify developed TakeCost, a cloud-based, AI-enabled takeoff and estimating platform that allows contractors, estimators, and project managers to upload drawings, perform digital measurements, and generate proposals directly in the browser.

Project

Through this project, Amplify Masonry will refine its AI detection model using human-in-the-loop training, validate the system under simulated cyberattack conditions, and establish a secure, production ready infrastructure that can scale globally.  With the support of the Development and Commercialization program, Amplify will work with the CyberRange TDS to test the application layer of the AI-enhanced version of TakeCost prior to commercial release. 

Impact & Outcomes

At project completion, Amplify Masonry will deliver a validated, production-ready AI system and supporting materials that enable immediate commercial use including a Cyber Range Security Validation Report verifying platform security, data protection, and compliance with best practices.  Amplify estimates that the new platform will generate $1.5 million in revenue and necessitate the hiring of up to four additional full-time employees Year 2 post-project.
