Actuality is a diverse, minority-owned company who is transforming how Ontario-based Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firms handle the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, one of the most inefficient and costly workflows in the industry. The AEC sector operates in a $12 trillion global construction market, yet outdated, manual RFP processes continue to drain valuable time and resources, preventing firms from competing effectively. Actuality is building an AI-powered solution tailored specifically to the needs of AEC firms, streamlining proposal creation, reducing response times, and increasing win rates.

Project

This Development and Commercialization program supported project, in partnership with leading Ontario-based AEC firms and Cambrian College as the Technology Development Site, to support the development, validation, and optimization of their AI-powered RFP response platform.  Actuality will undertake activities such as refining of content generation models, enhancing interface and workflows and pilot testing with real-world datasets – all to assist in commercializing the platform. 

Impact

The proposed project will result in a validated, AI-powered RFP response platform specifically designed for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.  This platform will enable Actuality to increase annual recurring revenue to $10M in the next three years as well as support an additional 6 skilled full-time employees within the next 14 months.
