BlueCaller is developing a platform that connects reputable home renovation contractors with each other and with their clients, making project coordination more efficient across the industry. The product integrates a social network, an open marketplace, and an AI-driven software-as-a-service offering.
The network enables members to establish a professional identity, engage with a community, earn peer endorsements, and share or consume content. The open marketplace leverages the social graph to generate trusted referrals and improve the flow of work opportunities between contractors.
Project
Through the Technology Development Internship program, BlueCaller will bring on a new intern to support the development of an AI assistant designed specifically for the skilled trades.
This assistant will generate job designs, prepare detailed scopes of work, optimize project scheduling, create task assignments, and inform users of required local permits. The intern will contribute to building a working prototype demonstrating the integrated functionality of these AI features, as well as early AR elements where applicable.
Impact & Outcomes
Working with BlueCaller’s AI development team for eight months will provide the intern with significant hands-on experience and professional growth. Their contributions to the AI components of the BlueCaller platform will directly support the company’s continued development, product expansion, and future commercial success.
