Carver Cabinetry is a family business whose every member is dedicated to high-quality cabinets and customer satisfaction. Carvers’ 10,000 square foot facility employs 20 full-time staff and incorporates the modern equipment and technology necessary to design and manufacture the quality cabinets their clients have come to enjoy. Carver also operates a separate sales office and has their own  installers on staff. 

Project

Although Carver currently uses CNC machines and robots, it has the immediate opportunities to support rapid growth and transformation. Carvers’  training strategy needs to be updated to align with its mission and vision. Support from the Future Ready Program  will enable Carver to bring in outside resources  to better understand the  use of technology and faster achievement of objectives. There is a lack of training on efficiently utilization of our CNCs. Critical Technology training will provide Carver with a turnkey access to information that would help the company fully utilize AI and Robotics technologies.

Impact & Outcomes

Carver  anticipates that as a result of the Future Ready program employees will be better trained on AI and Robotics aspects of our CAD/CAM and CNC systems. This  should lead to a reduction in errors in CAD file transfers, CNC programming language, post processors, and tool path optimization. It will in turn improve our manufacturing processes and reduce lead time.  The  15% reduction in lead times and 15% improvement in production as a result of the training will contribute to Carver doubling its sales over the next 8-10 years and increase employee count.
