Atlantic Machinery Supply Inc. is a Canadian distributor of advanced industrial machinery, serving manufacturers across North America. The company sources and supplies high-quality machinery and equipment used in production, automation, and specialized manufacturing processes: specifically, laser-cutting machines for metal parts. Atlantic’s offerings includes in-depth training, customization of advanced machinery, and robust post-sale support. The company supports and works with a range of clients, from small industrial operators to large-scale manufacturers (in construction/building materials, exercise equipment, and security systems (bulletproof panels). Atlantic Machinery Supply Inc. also has a manufacturing arm that manufactures various parts for other advanced manufacturers.

Project

With an increasingly diverse customer base and a highly technical product offering, Atlantic sees a major opportunity to adopt AI tools that will allow them to better segment and reach target markets, enhance CRM system, and improve how they support customers in operating the machinery we provide.  Under the Future Ready Program, Atlantic will train staff on various aspects of AI such as how to use AI to provide multilingual customer support, helping the company serve a broader client base across different languages and regions. Additionally, Atlantic Machinery Supply staff will be trained on how to use AI to support customers in learning how to operate the complex machinery it supplies.

Impact & Outcomes

This project will deliver several tangible outcomes that will strengthen Atlantic Machinery Supply Inc.’s operations and long-term competitiveness. The primary deliverables will include a fully trained internal team equipped with the knowledge and tools to leverage AI for B2B database marketing, multilingual customer support, and scalable product training. Based on the impact of AI-enabled tools, Atlantic is forecasting a doubling of staff and revenue increases of up to $1million  annually.
