Intelense Inc.

About

Intelense Inc. is a cutting-edge AI-driven SaaS company, established in 2018, with a team of 18 people, located at 3600 Steeles Ave E, Markham, ON. Its core mission is to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency across various industries through advanced technological solutions. Specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and IoT, Intelense is at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights in areas like Security, Public Safety, Smart Cities, and behavioral analytics.

Project

Intelense uses 5G-powered drones specifically designed to handle real-time tasks like surveillance, mapping, threat detection and fleet management across agricultural environments. Using LiDAR, radar, and cameras combined with AI, Intelense’ KenRobotics can operate independently, adapt to changing conditions, and instantly share data through 5G networks.  As Intelense looks to  design, develop and test 5G-connected smart drones that can work autonomously in agricultural farms by detecting obstacles, identifying objects and navigating using AI in real time they will leverage the Development and Commercialization program to access the Rogers 5G testbed to scale their solution.

Impact & Outcomes

Through this project, Intelense will deliver a validated product prototype comprising 5G-enabled autonomous drones integrated with LiDAR, radar, and camera sensors; AI for real-time obstacle detection and object recognition; object recognition; and a custom fleet management system.  As this solution is further commercialized, Intelense is forecasting revenue increases of $1million, the creation of 5-8 new skilled positions as well as supporting Ontario’s agriculture sector.
