| LTE/5G Testbed | The Centre for Smart Mining are teaming up with MacLean Engineering and Bell to launch an underground LTE/5G testbed at MacLean’s Underground test mine in Sudbury. |
| Prototyping Labs | The centre has numerous prototyping shops focused on mechatronics, robotics, electronics and advanced manufacturing. |
| Electronics Testing Labs | The centre has an electronics lab that includes an environmental test chamber, vibration testing table, EMC chamber, various oscilloscopes and signal analyzers. |
| Software Development Suite | The centre includes an eight-person software suite where the Centre’s software engineers work on various software related projects. |
