About

Machine Control Solution is an Ontario-based automation company that designs and manufactures customized machinery for mechanical assembly and industrial production applications. The company carries out its engineering, product development, and commercialization activities locally. Its current team consists of around 12 employees, including mechanical engineers, automation specialists, and software developers, supported by independent engineering and technical contractors engaged on product development projects.  The company provides customized automation systems that can be integrated into a variety of customer production lines and equipment. Its solutions include conveyor transfer systems, rolling mill control systems, automated fastening systems, and other specialized machinery developed to meet specific production requirements.

Project

Through the support of the Future Ready program, Machine Control Solution will provide its employees with training in the practical use of artificial intelligence across engineering, automation, and business activities. Training will cover areas such as AI assisted machine design, engineering analysis, software and PLC development, troubleshooting, documentation, project planning, budgeting, and other operational activities. The project will help the company build internal AI capabilities and enable employees to incorporate AI tools into their existing workflows.

Impact

The project will help the company build internal AI capabilities and enable employees to incorporate AI tools into their existing workflows. By improving the efficiency of engineering and business processes, the company expects to increase its capacity to deliver customized automation solutions and support the continued adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies in Ontario.  Over the following two to three years, the company expects these improvements to support increased project capacity and contribute to approximately 10% to 15% annual revenue growth, subject to market demand.
