Pillarix is a Toronto-based AI agent platform for construction project management, helping construction teams reduce costs, avoid delays, and protect work quality through customized AI agents that reason across a project’s full document history, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and communication records. The company serves key construction stakeholders, including owners, contractors, construction management firms, and project consultants across Canada and beyond.

Project

Through the Technology Access Program, Pillarix will be working with the Evergreen TDS to further develop and test two aspects of their platform.  Pillarix will deploy its AI platform and existing workflow agents against real project documentation from active construction and revitalization work at or affiliated with Evergreen Brick Works. In parallel, Pillarix will work closely with Evergreen’s project teams to identify pain points in construction workflows and co-develop new workflow AI agents.

Impact

By the end of the 4-month pilot, Pillarix is expected to achieve the validation of its agentic platform and existing AI agents against real construction project documentation, with performance benchmarks established for key accuracy and reliability metrics. At least one new AI workflow agent will be designed, built, and validated based on workflow needs identified through the Evergreen partnership. Pillarix estimates that this project will accelerate the development, validation, and maturity of its core AI platform functionality, unlocking millions of dollars in commercial value for the company as it scales across the Canadian construction sector and beyond.
