Dial2AI Inc.

About

Dial2AI Inc. is an Ontario-based technology company developing real-time, voice-enabled AI solutions for mining and telecommunications environments. The company’s platform integrates with existing communication systems, including radios, telephony, and mobile devices, to provide hands-free access to critical information, automate communication workflows, and support safer and more efficient operations. By combining generative AI with communication infrastructure, Dial2AI enables workers to interact with intelligent assistants in real time, improving access to safety protocols, operational guidance, and incident reporting tools.

Project

Supported by the CIT Technology Access Program and NORCAT Underground Centre, this project focuses on integrating and validating Dial2AI’s voice-enabled AI platform within underground mining communication systems. The solution connects AI assistants to existing telephony, radio, and broadband networks, enabling real-time interaction, automated transcription of communications, and hands-free incident reporting. The project will validate system performance in a live underground environment while demonstrating improved access to safety information, faster communication, and enhanced operational awareness in mining settings.

Impact

The project will advance Dial2AI’s voice AI platform toward commercialization by delivering a validated solution tailored to underground mining operations. By improving real-time access to information and enabling faster, hands-free communication, the technology supports enhanced worker safety, reduced response times, and increased operational efficiency. Outcomes include new job creation, expanded deployment opportunities across mining sites, and strengthened Ontario leadership in AI-enabled communication technologies for critical industries.
