IdeaTilt focuses on secure, AI-powered knowledge tools for the construction and manufacturing sectors. Their core solution Boostware, delivers verified answers and step-by-step guidance to field workers anytime, anywhere using localized AI so that it supports workers even in low or no connectivity environments. Boostware combines device-level security and localized AI with a natural-language interface so crews can ask questions by voice or text and receive fast, accurate answers grounded in their company’s own documents with human-validated updates (proposals, standardized operating procedures, manuals, safety procedures, regulations, building code). As a security and privacy first solution, business information stays confidential. In the moment, accurate information also supports faster training and onboarding of new hires. Most important, the solution is easy to use and is a security first solution that prioritizes data privacy.

Project

Boostware is Technology Readiness Level 6 (some configuration required). With the support of the Technology Access Program and advice from the AI specialists at the Lambton TDS, IdeaTilt intends to complete the final aspects of the solution. The product MVP application currently has proprietary software and AI agents, device-level encryption of localized documents, and a natural-language interface (text/voice) which need to be refined prior to commercialization.

Impact & Outcomes

Following the completion of the project, IdeaTilt’s Boostware solution will be ready to pilot with contractors, trades and manufacturers.  With technology and use case advancement, the solution and company will continue to grow.  As the product is further rolled out, IdeaTilt anticipates increased revenue and workforce expansion to meet the needs of customers across sectors.
