Asamaka Industries Ltd.

About

Asamaka Industries Ltd., founded in 2021 and headquartered in Windsor, Ontario, is an engineering and manufacturing firm specializing in automation integration, control systems, and robotics for sectors including automotive, food and beverage, and clean energy. The company provides turnkey automation solutions, custom-built smart control panels, and virtual commissioning using digital twin technology. With 13 employees, Asamaka focuses on developing Ontario’s automation capacity through innovative engineering, advanced manufacturing services, and workforce partnerships with Ontario colleges. Its goal is to localize smart automation production, reduce import reliance, and establish Windsor as a hub for intelligent manufacturing.

Project

The “Smart Control Panel Product Line” project will design, develop, and commercialize Ontario-built control panels with embedded AI, IIoT connectivity, and predictive diagnostics. These next-generation panels integrate advanced PLCs, sensors, and remote monitoring features that enable predictive maintenance and real-time performance insights. In collaboration with Lambton College, Asamaka will leverage digital twin technology to simulate and test designs before physical implementation, ensuring quality and reducing development costs. The project strengthens Ontario’s automation supply chain by replacing U.S. imports with locally manufactured, smart, scalable systems designed to meet the needs of OEMs across multiple sectors.

Impact & Outcomes

The project will deliver a working prototype of an IIoT-enabled smart control panel and its digital twin, ready for commercialization. Expected outcomes include 5–10 new high-skilled jobs, the creation of a Windsor-based assembly line, and strengthened domestic production capacity for automation components. Asamaka will pursue further funding to scale manufacturing, expand export markets, and enhance Ontario’s position in Industry 4.0 technologies. The project will also drive skills development through college partnerships and contribute to regional economic resilience by fostering innovation, local supply chains, and reduced dependency on imports.
