Datamond Systems Inc. is an AI software company developing next-generation ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) tailored for small and mid-sized enterprises. Project

Datamond is developing modular, AI-powered Warehouse Management System (WMS) designed to automate and optimize real-time inventory operations, with built-in ERP and accounting integration. The solution is tailored for highly regulated industries such as agri-food, where managing perishable inventory and ensuring batch-level traceability are critical.  With support from the Development and Commercialization program, and leveraging the ventureLAB TDS, Datamond will look to move their new offering towards commercialization by assisting with technical and business advisory services.

Impact & Outcomes  

At the conclusion of the project, Datamond will look to deploy its solution in an Ontario-based meat processing company where it will be further validated through real-time performance metrics, traceability tests, and user feedback.  As a result of commercialization efforts, Datamond estimates revenue increases of up to $500,000 ARR and the need to hire three additional full-time employees.  Users of the solution may experience up to a 10%-15% reduction in labour costs, 50%-70% improvement in expiry/stock accuracy and up to a 60% reduction in audit preparation times.
